Unifor's Pride Activist 5-Day PEL Course - May 25-30

Plan your attendance and education! The week leading into the conference, Unifor’s Pride Activist 5-Day PEL course will also be offered. This is a life-changing course that connects members across the country with the skills and community needed to build their activism in the union, workplace and hometowns.

The 2025 National Pride Conference May 30 - June 1 

Takes place at the Family Education Centre in Port Elgin, Ontario and will be open only to members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Unifor’s National Pride Conference is returning, bringing together 2SLGBTQIA+ members from across the country for a weekend of learning, solidarity, and action. This bilingual event is designed for two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) members to gain skills, build knowledge, and strengthen our collective power.

Allies play a crucial role in our fight for equity, but this conference is a closed space for 2SLGBTQIA+ Unifor members to strategize, connect, and build a more inclusive movement together.

The conference begins in the evening of Friday May 30th and ends at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday June 1st.

Women's Activist Training - Regina - May 20-22

The Unifor Women Activists program provides women with the tools to organize, hold ground on the gains we have made, and push forward to build a movement for women’s economic and social equality. The course covers a wide range of issues, such as women’s work, understanding oppression, harassment and violence, women’s history, and women in unions. Participants develop skills to make real change in the union, the workplace, and the community around equality issues.
